Rooted in 40 years of experience, Livius Prep is looking for people who are creative, innovative, unique, and most importantly can build genuine relationships with students.
We are looking for responsible, energetic instructors who want to jump in with both feet to help provide the best possible experience at our five-week summer camps in Boston.
This role is a great fit for paraprofessionals, teachers, college students, or anyone looking to break into an educational role.
Job details:
Build a creative and fun community for your group of 10-20 students who are 3rd-8th gradeSupport your students through individualized and group leadershipInstill a sense of camaraderie and teamwork in all group activitiesWork with our program team and site directors to develop and hone your teaching skillsKeep to a daily schedule including instruction, athletics, meals, and arrivals & departuresPresent preplanned activities and instruction with confidence and enthusiasmProgram is five weeks long, 8am-4pm weekdaysTo be the right fit, youAre computer literateHave reliable transportationMust be at least 18 years of ageHave completed at least two years of collegeWant to be a part of an exciting company as it growsHave a passion for inspiring students to reach their full potentialHave strong social and communications skills, both with kids and adultsAre reliable and punctual and live within a reasonable commute of the Boston, Massachusetts area.
(Specific venues TBD)Don't need formal teaching experience, but prior work with children is a mustAre eligible to work in the U.
S.
